I am applauding a rare moment of compassion by SKelly. Here he is acknowledging that third grade-level name-calling can have real consequences for people who are unrelated to the intended target of the bullying. Most bullies like Trump feel weak and are deeply insecure; compensating for that by ridiculing others. The ones that support bullies do so because they are terrified that they will become the next targets if they don’t. I think it is commendable that Kelly understands that the childish actions of weaklings and cowards can have negative consequences for innocent people. Thank you, Steve. From Brandon.

I totally agree with this. There are people sitting in jail on marijuana charges right now because they can’t afford a few thousand dollars bail. Then there’s the rich guy (or the broke guy with rich friends) who is $290,000,000 short for his bail payment; he is walking around free. There is definitely a two-tier justice system.

“You cannot admit you are wrong. And that deserves the label of dopey loon.” Seems like you have a little of that going on yourself.

I do hope you are sincere and this is not a judgement masquerading as a blessing, because, as you know, Matthew 7:1-6 and Luke 6:37-39.

As you listen to the next speech by Donald Trump just consider the words of The Lord Jesus in Matthew 7:15-21. Read The Beatitudes which come before and ask yourself how these verses apply to what you are hearing.

This policy has been on the FAA website since the Trump administration. Guess it must have slipped in under the radar. so to speak.

Even before climate change, many of the beaches in the New York area were man made. Robert Moses was the driving force behind much of this in the period between 1929 and the 1960’s. For example, Orchard Beach in the Bronx was constructed in the 1930’s entirely from fill brought from the south shore of Long Island. It exists in an area that used to be the space between two Islands. Much of Jones Beach was also created in the 20’s by bringing sand up from the bottom of the Atlantic and building up the barrier island. This is not a new thing.

Good thing SKelly’s comics aren’t carried by any media.

Obviously we went wrong by telling them about the First Amendment to the US Constitution. Come on SKelly, if there was any mild criticism for Donald Trump calling Netanyahu and the Israeli Defense Minister losers, and praising Hezbollah as being very smart (or whatever jackassery he spouts about the judges and public servants doing their jobs in his court cases) the First Amendment would be the headline.

@warcat Just re reading the original comment. This quote from a wise sage seems to apply to it:

“You want to label everyone who disagrees with you and stereotype them in a certain way. You really are a pathetic bigoted fool with such a childish mentality.

I would pity you if you didn’t provide so much entertainment.”
