   That’s the problem nowadays. If a kid keeps an active imagination he’s deemed abnormal and sent off elsewhere where he won’t get the same opportunities. Schools do their very best to crush imagination out of kids. Calvin is just over the top in the other direction.

   Just the same as the Simpsons. Hell Lisa’s graduated from the first grade multiple times and is still in first grade.

    It was actually disproven that such advertising had any effect at all, and the messages aren’t technically illegal in the US but can result in the broadcasting company having their license away by the FCC.
