My pleasure! I’m a longtime Brevity fan, but just signed up with gocomics. Anyhow, my daily ritual is to view the current Brevity then to skip over everyone’s comments to read whatever punny quip you have made.
We are viewing the crowd at a sporting event. (The specific sport is irrelevant. If you need to imagine a sport, I suggest baseball.) As at many such events, the crowd is tossing around a beach ball. (Note: the faces in the crowd are all happy.) A staff member of the facility is perturbed when the beach ball threatens to interfere with the unspecified sport. So, he takes the opportunity to catch the ball when it comes his way. (Note: the faces are now concerned.) He proceeds to pop the ball. (Note: the faces are all angry.) When a gigantic beach ball jettisons his way, perhaps thrown by an angry crowd member, justice has been served. (Note: the faces now express joy and contentment.)
