For help on how to follow a comic title,
This storyline ran on a bit too long – how many weeks was it?
Why do this storyline NOW and not around one of the strip’s anniversaries?
Is Walt going to die? He’s seeing his life pass before his eyes…Is this his send off…
Is Walt going to die – he’s seeing his life flash before him…
Drugging someone then smothering them to death with a pillow – isn’t this an overused plot device – this story is running on too long – although technically, I guess it was two parallel stories interconnecting.
But as I have always said, if you don’t like the current story, there’s a new one a few weeks away.
Actually the acceptable titles to address “Chief of Detectives” Should be in the “patrol guide”. So if you want to get technical, someone should get Mike a copy of the Chicago “patrol guide” that is issued to all officers.
As I recall in some interview Mike had talked about The Syndicate, Tribune wanting more compact storylines keeping them at 8-10 weeks – and truth is, I’ve lost track of how long this storyline has been running!
This story seems to have run longer than the usual length stories the strip has done in the past – it is dragging on, isn’t it – not like Mike to have a story go on this long.
What does “Pouch” really do? I mean 15c for Balloons can’t make a lot of money (A buck makes more sense), and he’s an ex-con. We know he’s acted as a CI for the MCS. He’s got to have some sort of “legal” money making operation going on to live on, but has it ever been made clear?
I think he’s more surprised there’s a hippy commune in 2020/2021 in the area – not that there were ever hippies in the first place – the facts hippies are still around today!
