The decision by SCOTUS actually made no difference on the Colorado primary’s Republican ballot because Trump’s name remained on it for today’s election. I’m unsure what would have happened to those votes if the SCOTUS decision had gone the other way.

Maybe, although I could easily read it before I started learning to write it in the 3rd grade.

In the 1st and 2nd grade our spelling books had the words we were supposed to learn printed in italics. I knew one girl who was able to print those spelling words beautifully in italics. I was tempted to tell her she didn’t need to do that, but fortunately kept my mouth shut and didn’t make any attempt toward discourging her. As an adult, she used her calligraphy talent working at a local engineering company, likely doing lettering for their blueprints.

Instead of giving their town in Colorado the obvious correct Spanish pronunciation, the locals of Buena Vista insist on calling it “Bewna” Vista. It grates on my nerves every time I hear it. I suppose they can call it anything they want, but it is still ignorant.

Barack Obama’s mother was born in Wichita, Kansas, therefore making him a natural born citizen no matter the country of his birth.

A person who qualifies as an American citizen at birth and does not need to go through a naturaiization process is considered to be a natural born citizen. For instance, even if Barack Obama had been born in Kenya instead of Hawaii, he would still have been a natural born citizen. All of Trump’s shouting and hand wringing about that was actvally meaningless.
