Actually, Howgozit must be pleased in Reid. He’s such a wimp that he helps the Republican cause.

Herman is a Republican businessman. He wants his turn to discriminate.

Good point, dfowensby. My brother is buying gold and I’m sure he wants a default. Just when I thought Jack was getting smart, he blows it with his finish. Ignore grayhares…he’s just pulling your string. There won’t be a default, though. Even rich Republicans don’t like losing money.

Ariail did a smart, energy saving concept and a good one. Too bad it was an intended put-down.

Republicans: always blame it on the black guy.

    The hackneyed bait-and-switch.

Now Kimberly, you are messin’ with the religious right when talking about birth control methods. But backing up to asaid ridiculous tripe, the robber barrons of the past are the right-wing corporatists of today, trying to deregulate everything and rob us all. Did you learn nothing from the Wall St. heist. Not one of them has gone to jail, and nothing has been done to fix it either.

I can’t stand seeing Ramirez cartoons but I come to this page to enjoy dtroutma, Kimberly, and the legendary1. It’s always nice to encounter a few thinking people in this retrograde age of Limbaugh/Bachmann.

Funny, all I ever heard about Bush from you cons was how you blamed Clinton for everything. I know, it’s hard for you to remember with your short attention span.

TCL and Froggie, I’ve known individuals from both sides and I understand the French defensiveness…they lost and don’t like being a minority…and I understand the English annoyance at the French who can be infuriating. I’m wondering when Canada can be ONE country. Is it possible? Not one French and one English but ONE united. I saw a cartoon once of two goats tied together. It was in 3 panels. The first panel showed the goats pulling against each other to eat two separate stacks of hay and neither getting a bite. The second panel showed them getting together to eat one stack of hay together. The third panel showed them getting together and eating the second stack of hay. It was a win-win. Possible for Canada? TCL, you are right about the hockey players. Hate to admit it. It’s your sport and we are learning. I’m a diehard Redwings fan.
