   Needles has two nice days a year, one is called spring, the other is called fall. Otherwise it is either freezing cold or blazing hot, like triple digits at 2200 or 0600. I had to spend the night in Needles one time in August. There’s a place that could make the devil himself uncomfortably hot

   While I’m no fan of the RIAA, what bothers me even more is people who think it’s ok to pirate music/software/movies etc, but would never think to steal the item on physical media. I’m not sure the pirates would love it so much if someone decided that they didn’t deserve to be paid for their work. I used to work in the video game business, but thanks to pop-culture endorsed thievery I had to go into another line of work. Now if somebody tries to rip me off for my work they’ll have to do it in person, and I’ll have no problem forcing them to pay through any means necessary.

   Actually have “The Wall” Disc 2 spinning on the turntable right now, but I think I’ll have to go over to the shelf and grab Dark Side. It was the album that truly convinced me of the superiority of vinyl, this being primarily due to it being the first album I had on both CD and vinyl thus being able to compare, though there truly is no comparison.
