    You know, if you’re just randomly tuning into Calvin and Hobbes with this strip, you’ll have NO idea what’s going on or what the joke is supposed to be.

    Honestly surprised Watterson’s editor let him do something so “out there” like this series of strips. They really only work reading them all together as opposed to separately.

    I wish Watterson had done an entire week of these strips with the same punchline. It would have gotten funnier every day.
