The first thing that I learned about the job market after high school was that if I wasn’t black, gay or a woman I wasn’t even going to be interviewed, even if I was qualified for the job.

Yes, The Dream Curse on Dark Shadows. I was in High School at the time, and I did arrange my day around it. I spent most of my Senior year transcribing the scripts off of cassette tapes we made off of the television, about 2 hours per 20 minute episode cause we figured that that was the only way we would have any record of it. Now you can get the entire series (about 1400 episodes) on DVD, out of all the episodes aired, they are only missing one. You get 1100 points.! :)

I can top that one: "Through sight and sound and faceless terror/Through endless corridors by trial and error/Ahead, a blazing light does burn/And one door leads…. " Where? Finish this one and get 100 points, tell me where it’s quoted from and get 1000!!

I put off reading A Tale of Two Cities for years and when I finally did, it was one of the best books I ever read.

Scarlett O’Hara was not beautiful….. Call me Ishmael….Prince Raoden of Arelon awoke early one morning, completely unaware the he had been damned for all time…. There once was a boy named Eustance Clarence Scrubb, and he almost deserved it…Marley was dead…. etc.
