Yet the two are not mutually exclusive. I am for country over party, but I’ll be holding my nose this November because I cannot sit idly by and watch my country continue to devolve into a rank mess that no longer has a grasp of the Constitution.
Nobody is imposing on their right to speech. There are other rules and laws to be obeyed. The First Amendment does not protect from loitering, trespassing, and unlawful assembly. There’s a process that the Left has forgotten.
Fail them from their classes, strip them of their scholarships, kick them out of school, then have them arrested for trespassing, vandalism, and breaking & entering. Not so hard.
It’s such a shame that we live in a country where people are forced to live where they don’t agree with the laws. I don’t mean to sound callous, but it’s not like someone goes to bed one night and wakes up several months pregnant the next morning. It’s sort of like those people who have days to evacuate ahead of a hurricane and choose to stay, then start crying for help and blaming the government when they find themselves in mortal danger. Life is all about choices, and thankfully in this country, we have plenty. The fact that some make bad choices is not a condition of red state or blue state. We have great freedoms that come with great consequences when abused.
That’s awesome. I’m pro-choice, and Conservative, and I vote, too. I just happen to believe there are more choices than the option to have an abortion… the most important choice being the one that happens before pregnancy (in the vast majority of situations).
As it should be. Of course, only those who have read and have a deep understanding of the Constitution and the foundations of this REPUBLIC would understand that.
