I think you’ll find its correct full name is ‘association football’. It’s only in the states you have to call it soccer to distinguish it from your game.
I bet the planet & (potential) cyclists love you? not!

Single-use plastics & then recycling is an expensive & poor alternative.
It was streamed worldwide (live) on-line, so not a big deal to miss the highlights show so many weeks later?
Well, I have a 71yo friend who ran a 50km trail race only a few weeks ago & and it rained for some of it. And he has no problems with his knees either.
But it’s much easier to get back onto a boat than back into a plane!

Those who can’t do, teach, and those who can’t teach, write text books?
What is usually referred to as a tri(athlon) bike, is a bike that complies with the rules for draft legal sic triathlons. These rules are less strict than for cycling time-trials. The design goal is to make them as aerodynamically efficient, so they position the rider with a horizontal back to minimise frontal area. The handlebars allow the arms to be narrow, and except for specific races, a solid (disc) wheel will be used. note that 650mm wheels were used in the past, but now only by some brands for the smallest riders.
They also have a reputation for carrying lots of bottles (as many riders don’t trust what the race will supply).
