   Which brings up something I’ve been thinking about. Why is February so odd with only 28 days when all the others have 30 or 31. What’s the history here. I submit we could take one day from January and one from March and give them to February. It would be so much more rational. February would then be the same as the others, 30 days and 31 in a leap year. But yes, it does feel longer as it is.

   Considering the Feb. 5 panel and this week’s subject I have only one thing to say to Brian. Please don’t retire and end the strip like the movie “My Dog Skip”. I couldn’t take it.

   I have a fear based on this panel and the recent ones testing our knowledge of their relationship. What if Brian is planning to retire and ends the strip with a plot like the movie “My Dog Skip”. Don’t think I could handle Rover passing.
