Actually, wing-nut, what I can’t fathom is the concept that in this day and age, people still hold on to stories written ages ago by men claiming to be speaking for some god. If anything about religion ticks me off, it’s your need to push it into the faces of other people. Christians seem to make wonderful salesmen.
Some of you say that we athiests worship science. No, but we respect it. At least science is constantly challenging its findings to get to the truth. The same cannot be said of religion’s”true believers”.
I’m very content to say I don’t know where we came from or where we’re going. I don’t feel the need to latch on to ancient stories for some sort of mental comfort-food.
