By “reading” I meant taking in word and pictures. She’s not running sideways she’s running up to her father who is walking across the foreground . The perspective of the fence tells me that. Her tilt is to accentuate the fact she is running.

Sometimes the comments section makes me wonder if people have ever read comic strips before.

  3. 25 days ago on Crankshaft

Just because you don’t see it, doesn’t mean it isn’t there. The focus is on the register. That’s like saying, “no door? How do they get in and out?”

  4. 27 days ago on Crankshaft

You can cover a lot of sidewalk in 30 seconds. I’m guessing the hardware store is right after the shoppe just off panel.

Looked good on paper didn’t it, Thor?

  6. 27 days ago on Dick Tracy

The same could be said for anyone who knows Jessica Fletcher.

  7. 27 days ago on B.C.

Man, I hope some of you are just joshing. It IS a comic strip not a documentary y’know.

  8. 27 days ago on Crankshaft

Now you’re just stretching to find things wrong.

I remember this sequence from the original run.

This guy reminds me of the Farmer from the Shaun the Sheep animated show.
