   As a grandmother of a 6 year old I have watched some “children’s television” and have to agree with some of Calvin’s opinion. Some of programming is just too wholesome and silly for words. Children are much smarter than we give then credit for sometimes.

   Hobbes has always been and always will be a lover of women, he has the heart of a poet. It will have to fall to the King and Tyrant Calvin to keep out the slimy girls.

   (Don’t cha’ just love how we project on to these characters what we need them to be for us. I love Bill Watterson and of course, I love Hobbes, too!)

   I like Hobbes idea, too. However The Sinister Ice Black Hand of Death is catchy too!

   Hope they let Hobbes know when visiting days are…poor Calvin, up the river he goes! Susie’s face is priceless!
