The Lions donate old glasses to people in other countries who can’t afford them. When I realized what I had done, I had to call the office and ask them to look through the box. Luckily, they found my brand new glasses.

Time is the great equalizer. At my reunion, it was pretty hard to tell which were the really hot chicks and the drop dead gorgeous guys back in the day. Everybody is now fat, gray, bald, etc. All except a few, of course.
We didn’t have FBOFW in our local paper until the year April was born. I never saw these earlier years, but they sure explain what happened to the Johnston marriage. Not that it was an unusual relationship back in the 70’s. I loved the drama and soap opera effect of this strip’s later years. These old re-runs are just sad.
