Susan001 – I can’t explain everyone’s interest in this strip, but clearly like myself, there is a fascination with the way Watterson expressed himself through the little boy and his stuffed tiger. For me, it is the way I can relate to what Calvin does and thinks, as in my alter-ego. Growing up an only child, I had a grand imagination and could entertain myself for hours. Calvin helps me relive a lot of the thoughts of my young days growing up. I agree he’s not the only good strip out there, but he’s the only one that comes as close to what I can relate to.
