Yes, but that still doesn’t excuse her putting Luann in a difficult position.
All you have to zoom in on is Tiffany’s face to know that it was only one twenty-dollar bill.
Have no doubt that the image means that the ball was thrown by a female someone who is interested in Jack and it “accidentally” lands in his lap. Although I’m a guy, it didn’t occur to me about the placement of the ball because I imagined the ball to be light like a tennis ball. We’ll find out!
The New Oxford American Dictionary: “Strictly speaking, whence means from what place, as in whence did you come? Thus, the preposition from in from whence did you come? is redundant and its use is considered incorrect by some. The use with from is very common, though, and has been used by reputable writers since the 14th century. It is now broadly accepted in standard English.” Personally, the “from” jars me.
Lots of things other people “should” be doing, and don’t do, and it falls to others to pick up after them. It is FAR more important to address the welfare of a child than it is to be fearful of “letting the guilty off the hook.” Toni and Brad are dealing with the things they CAN change, rather than concerning themselves with the things that are out of their control. Good for them. As JFK supposedly said, “Life is not fair.” But that doesn’t mean we can’t do what we can to make things better when we can. And finally, I would submit that Ayn Rand’s message is itself the root of all evil. We are here to take care of our fellow beings, in my universe, and hooray for altruism!

The chances are one in a millionaire.
My mom was 41; they would be 108 this year.
I don’t think Bets is “clingy” but rather just exercising good boundaries on a date. I saw it as 100% healthy behavior.
The “pi” looks to me more like a double T for “Taco Town.”
