   Today marks the anniversary of Bill Watterson’s retirement. I find this strip oddly fitting. Kudos to you, Bill.

   Hobbes is familiar to me as most of my friends in college: unemployed, incomparably lazy, and having a superabundance of back hair.

   The only thing that’s different between Hobbes and them is that tigers are inherently better at pulling things off with style.
