    This not only happened to me, the cop searched my car! I was 60 years old and it was in Florida. I was going the speed limit.

    In the early days of the Global Positioning Satellite system, receivers were very expensive. They cost well over $1000 at first. Then a company by the name of Tate stated making receivers that were very reasonable. Unfortunately, they were not reliable and were often seriously inaccurate. This is what gave rise to the saying, “He who has a Tate’s is lost!”
