My wife’s cravings were for McDonalds Shamrock and Eggnog shakes. Our middle child was born in July, which meant that I had to fill our chest freezer with these McDelicacies until his birth. There is still a 10 yr old Eggnog shake down there from this time.

I guess that would make Poncho “Rowdy” Roddy Piper.

Oh, oh oh. Once again, GT has struck gold. Great on so many different levels. Truly masterful, sir.

This strip does bother me a bit. I understand the attitudes that are becoming more prevalent today, but in the case of animal rescue organizations, I have not seen (usually) volunteers as bad as the one portrayed here. Many/most do require an in home visit as well as a interview/vetting process. But DO NOT allow this to put you off, it is the BEST way to ensure the safety and compatability of the animals they adopt out. Taking in a rescue dog is a huge responsibility and not one to be entered into lightly. It is in the best interest of both the animal and the adoptees to do this. I have adopted 2 beagles recently from the Huron Valley Animal Shelter in Ann Arbor, MI, and I cannot praise them enough. This process ensures that the animal is truly adopted into the family, as they should, and are not just a cash transaction. Investigate wherever you intend to get the animal, be patient enough to go through the process and you will be more aware and satisfied when you add that new special addition to your family.

Well, thats still better than my wife. She was so nervous at our wedding that when she recited the “and In fidelity” she rushed thru it and said “and infidelity”. The priest had to hold back a giggle thru the rest of the vows at her mistake. Well, I hope it was a mistake at least.

Roscoe must be a beagle. I put bacon bits on my salad earlier, and mine’s been “hounding” me ever since. Such a hopeful little dog.

Pro wrestling, shark v. python v. anaconda v. octopus v. 80’s pop starlets. Sheesh. They spend piles of cash on these, yet allow a “Dresden Files”, “Stargate Universe” Galactica franchise to die or vanish. It seems like they don’t have a vision for any of their self-developed properties past the 1st 3 episodes, and interfere with the direction or creative processes of these shows until they become unwatchable by their target audience. I hope they don’t allow the upcoming “Torchwood” franchise to die in such a manner. On the plus side, they have had success in putting out less dark, more accessable fare like Warehouse 13, Eureka, Sanctuary, and now Being Human. At times they seem downright bipolar, but at least they haven’t ruined these shows by becoming too dark.

Those types only work out if their issues are graded F/VF or lower.

I am still sorely disappointed that I haven’t heard any of the media pundits claiming falsified State of Hawaii documents referring to the President as “President McLovin”. (Ignore the terrible “Superbad” movie referrence) Ah well, there’s still hope for Glenn Beck to catch on, if his show stays viable without sponsors…

Regardless, GT has hit comic gold by shining his spotlight on the C Street “Family”. Sure, the Birther bill is topical, but the Family is a mine that he will be able to dig in for months to come! Genius! And I thought that an Obama presidency would be a fallow field to till. As for the delusional who are still trying to revise the evidence of Pres. Obama’s native birth, perhaps they would make a better argument that he was born before Hawaii statehood in 1959, or come up with a little known intended secret clause that requires a person to be born in a state that has been a state for more than, say 24 or so months. On your marks, get set, REVISE!
