Actually, we try to convince you to stay for the sake of your health. If that doesn’t work we tell you sternly that you can leave if you want but your insurance won’t pay the bill. Does Duke even have insurance? Probably not, so he wouldn’t care.

Lincoln was not “bound” to give the Confederates back their guns after the Civil War. He decided to return them in light of the fact that many of the common soldiers needed them to put food on the table and feed their families.

The point everyone seems to be missing is his blood soaked uniform as he “defends” his position built on the bodies of his comrades who have been fed into the war as cannon fodder. What a senseless waste of human life fueled by Putin’s war.

According to SB Nation: Load management is essentially a fancy term for rest. It means giving a player a night off during an 82-game NBA season in hopes of preserving him for the playoffs.

As a retired nurse I feel compelled to chime in here. You all are completely missing the point. Do you think that nurse is hobbling over to her neighbor’s be with her walker to take his temperature because she feels some obligation? No. It’s because it’s her calling. If I’m visiting a friend in the hospital and they say they’re not feeling well I’ll do a quick assessment while we’re waiting for the nurse to come. Or if it came to that (I hope it never does!) I’d start CPR while waiting for the code team.

And yet most owners are billionaires, and their teams are worth hundreds of millions if not more. Both players and owners should stop fighting over money and work instead to improve the game.
