Was working for a defense company in the early ’90s, we had this rugged portable that was pretty awesome. Could take it up in an Apache and record flight data. Our competitor had a Compaq. It disintegrated with all the vibrations in the helicopter. But the compaq had a color screen, so they had that going for them.

I saved this one, laminated, when it originally was carried in my local paper. Still have it somewhere too pretty sure.

So many comments, will add my own anyway. The issue that Zebo had was that Tara didn’t stick with her, I was mad at my friend for making me put effort into the class and created this to spite her. Had she been honest with her intent he would have kept the A+ as the piece clearly conveyed that message. However, she did not. She got up and made some airy pontificated statement as Zebo correctly indicated was full of hot air. So F because that is not what the piece conveys.

Interesting how far back these debates went. The Brady bill passed though as did the assault weapons ban.

My inspector checked all the outlets with a little device. I suspect that on a whole house build though they might get a little lax. My inspections were typically pretty quick, I often did more talking asking them questions about the next phase. Drywall was the quickest, but I had been pretty particular and neat with the screw locations so I guess it was pretty obvious they were all in the right spacing. Biggest problem I had is the local Lowes/HD sold more non-compliant stuff than compliant. I had to replace all the outlets with ones that have built in child saftey covers, but they were kind of hard to find at the store.

Didn’t they like add a room? I did two in my Basement and got permits and inspections for both rooms I added.

This kind of no boardaries behavior is quite typical of children who have been neglected, which is certainly her back story. I want to say Brad and tony have already talked about adopting her.

It is not about the taxes, government can manipulate markets for good or bad. For good by giving breaks and investment (low interest loans for one) and tax breaks to developing technologies. Some will stick, some will not. But people have gotten so bent about the ones that do not that we don’t take risks anymore (solindra anyone). Then you have the bad, giving breaks and incentives to established, but fading technologies like coal.

We have the current low gas prices thanks to those forward looking investments, mostly in Fracking which is an in between technology, but still it was foresight by the Obama administration to get us independent. I find it interesting that was one thing the GOP harped on for decades, but since we hit it during the Obama years it has been crickets. Doesn’t help we hit it thanks to wind and solar too which took some of the pressure off of other fuels.
