   My friend who lives in Vermont says there are 5 seasons:

   Colors, Brown, Snow, Mud, and Green

   Translation: Colors = Fall when the leaves are turned Brown = after the leaves fall off the trees and before it snows Snow = winter w/ snow Mud = when the snow melts Green = spring/summer when the trees are green, the grass grows, etc

   Actually, it is funny. She’s so far behind she’s still (not) getting ready for Christmas 2 yrs ago.

   Yes, I know it’s a re-run, but if you pretend it isn’t….

   Had a friend in college who played bagpipes. She had to be really creative to find places to practice. Even the quiet practice rooms in the music department were not sound proof enough for the bagpipes.

   When I was a kid losing my baby teeth, my dad showed me how to tie a string to it and tie the other end to a doorknob. Then just slam the door and out came the tooth. Dad claimed that’s what he did when he was a kid. It worked for me. At some point, the loose tooth would be really annoying - not ready to fall out, but loose enough to bug me - so this method got it out easily. (mom was a little freaky about this, but the dentist assured her I wasn’t doing any harm)

   After yesterday’s closet-cleaning, it’s no surprise that Cathy is shopping today - what else would she do?

   How does she manage to keep her job? - she’s never there! (ok, she’s there once in a blue moon, but that’s almost like never….)
