   My extended family had a hunting / vacation cabin in (very) rural Pennsylvania. Running water came from a hand pump, lights burned kerosene, toilets were in a privy, and electricity came from a generator. I have no such illusions.

   T-Rump’s grandfather was a pimp and a real estate speculator who lost his Bavarian citizenship when he ducked the draft and emigrated. T-Rump’s father was a racist (KKK booster) real estate crook who did very well for himself off government money. It really is no surprise that T-Rump is a chip off the same old rotten stump.

   The thing is, dumb as Brewster IS a lot of the time, sometimes he has an uncanny talent for seeing through the BS.

   Frankly, the only time I have sports drinks is maintaining hydration during a colonoscopy prep. So nothing red, purple or dark, and you reaaally don’t want a flavor that overlaps with the (usually lemon-lime) in the clean-you-out drink.

   If there was that much common sense around, I might still have a job. I used to work in Test Security for SAT, detecting the cheats, copiers and impersonators. It wasn’t just the SAT either, exams for teachers also had plenty of cheating.

    This is why I buy store brand, and even that is getting ridiculously pricy. Overall inflation since 2020 is just 19%, but food prices (especially fast food) is up 100%-200%.
