   I have to wonder about the “security” in a gated community, and whether or not it’s just an illusion. My dad’s been selling alarm systems for nearly 30 years, and he’s told me stories about robbers who cut open a windowpane and rob a house blind without ever tripping an alarm. Would a big wall and a minimum wage security guard really be a deterrent by comparison?

   Also, why is that tiger cage so high? “Dramatic effect” doesn’t count. I’m sure the tiger wouldn’t mind a lower ceiling if he had more room he could actually use.
