I am also a long-time musician; I find the trio to be of unusual composition, and the bassman’s hands are also not true to life. But I also know that a band is made up of the musicians you have and that panel two is really and truly where the action is at. That applause is addicting the first time you hear it, and you can never get enough. I was also thinking a .wav file would go well with this strip. We’ve been so many weeks getting to this point; I hope Gertie appreciates the artist, even though the man is a boor.
