Since the White House did not yet exist Washington took his vacation where he lived. The first presidential staycation. Lincoln took his vacation at a place called Soldier’s Home a few miles from the White House.

  2. over 11 years ago on Pickles

I usually say ICCLBINWTE or ickle bin wit. I Could Care Less But Its Not Worth The Effort.

  3. almost 12 years ago on Ask Shagg

I saw a hawk go to a friend’s bird feeding station. It regarded the mourning doves there as the meat course on a buffet.

  4. almost 13 years ago on Jack Ohman

Mr. Ohman, I disagree greatly with your comic. It is long past time for N.A.S.A. to live up to what the acronym stands for. National Aeronautics and Space ADMINISTRATION. There are excellent companies such as SpaceX that are well equipped to take us and the world into the next era of space exploration and exploitation. The Falcon 9 rocket and Dragon payload capsule produced by SpaceX are prime examples.
