I was thinking the same thing. Plus I think Mr. Bushmiller is deceased. Lol. They’re doing the same thing their doing with “Calvin and Hobbes,” changing the storyline on us, except that this strip isn’t in repeats.
Sorry, I forgot that they had a reply command. I don’t comment here much, so it’s hard to keep track of these things. Lol.
<<I hope it’s a date with Liz, Jon. Don’t go two-timing her. Don’t ruin the best thing you got.>>
I was sort of wondering about that too. That seems more like the old Jon, before they got involved.
That sort of reminds me of what Cody Lambert of “Step by Step” fame used to do. He always liked that brain-freeze ice cream headache thing.
It’s been a while since Doc Boy was mentioned. He really ought to make an actual appearance in the strip.
Well, he doesn’t like raisins either. Besides, there have been many strips where Garfiled would criticize Jon’s cooking.
Wasn’t that supposed to be “Fish breath?” Just curious about that.
You shouldn’t have told him where you
were going to eat Jon.>>
That wouldn’t have mattered. Garfield has ways of finding these things out.
In response to Supersurfer’s comment, I noticed the 70s Garfield there too. I wonder why Davis did that. Maybe for old time sake.
I agree with that. But it’s nice that they have an actual plot going on this week. The strip has been dull the past few weeks before. This livens it up a bit.
