The problem isn’t the straws, it’s that the straws, along with a lot of other garbage, is being dumped at sea. Eliminating straws doesn’t address the real problem.

It has nothing to do with Obama or the ACA, so quit trying to blame them. It’s a common practice of many company-provided insurance programs. The same thing happened to me 20-some years ago for a different surgery. And unlike the people on the ACA, I don’t get to pick my plan, it’s take it or leave it.
I go in for surgery next week. But before I am admitted, I need to come up with over 4 grand up front. It’s not the hospital’s rule, it’s the insurance company’s. I have to pre-pay my deductible or they pay for nothing. Such is the state of the American healthcare system.
At least it’s not ethanol.
Don’t buy Polaroid LED bulbs. They have a “Lifetime Replacement Warranty,” but if you file a claim, all you get is a run-around. It’s been over 8 months and still no replacement.
