Just wait ‘till dad’s had enough, remakes the story on the fly, and townsfolk go searching in vain for Huey’s head! One of Watterson’s all time best!

LOVE the artwork in panels 3-6. Bill Watterson, you are sorely missed. NOTHING compares today, not even close! I wish Watterson did several days of this story line at night, like the Tracer Bullet C&H story lines–it’d be great to admire all that art work.

Comics now sure are lacking by comparison. There’s more artistry in panel 5 alone than I’ll find in the total sum of every strip published today in my paper. Thanks to the syndicate for republishing them here!

I say Calvin’s reaction was reasonable. T-rex needs to assert his dominance. Mom asked for it.

Brilliant colors, wonderful art work. Strips like this show how evocative and versatile comic art can be. There’s nothing like this anymore at all; I sure miss Watterson! We can all be grateful they are republished daily here, at least … .

Ah, perfectly reasonable. Could happen to anyone.

Ahh … thus floccinaucinihilipilification provides us with an excellent example of the difference between knowledge and wisdom. And pretentiousness in his name, to boot. Keep it up, kid, and someday you may even get your own talk show to spew your venom. There are loads of other fools waiting.

Watterson says he finds more humor in a deeper vocabulary. I wholeheartedly agree. A vintage strip, this one.

The court system is what gives Americans the rights they are so proud of. Or, you could throw the Constitution out and live like they do elsewhere–your choice. Here Calvin wants to take advantage of his Dad’s access to the court system, his dad being a patent attorney (like Bill Watterson’s dad, incidentally).
