"I CAN'T STAND IT! I JUST CAN'T STAND IT!" Charlie Brown kneels on the ground and bangs his fist. In front of him is a tree with string wrapped around it.(BR) (BR) He stands in front of the tree and looks up at it.(BR) (BR) "YOU STUPID TREE! LET GO OF THAT KITE!" he yells.(BR) (BR) "Let go, I say, or I'll give you the worst shaking you've ever had!" He shakes his fist at the tree threateningly.(BR) (BR) He shakes the tree hard; lots of leaves fall down, but no kite.(BR) (BR) Linus and Lucy walk up to find Charlie Brown sitting against the trunk of the bare tree. Leaves are scattered on the ground, but the kite it not there.(BR) (BR) Linus turns to look at Charlie Brown as they walk past.(BR) (BR) They walk on.(BR) (BR) "Is it autumn?" Linus asks Lucy.(BR) (BR)
It’s not Autumn, Linus. But there is a chance of storms in Charlie Brown.
