Charlie Brown kneels on the ground and winds the kite string up. Linus stands behind him, holding his kite.(BR) (BR) Charlie Brown stands up. Lucy approaches. "What's going on here?" she demands.(BR) (BR) Lucy stands between them. Charlie Brown explains, "I'm giving Linus a little hand..I'm going to help him get his kite in the air..."(BR) (BR)"YOU?" Lucy asks incredulously, pointing at Charlie Brown.(BR) (BR) Lucy throws back her head and laughs: "HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA..."(BR) (BR) "HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO Oh, my, I can't stand it!! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA." Lucy clutches her stomach, gasping with laughter. Charlie Brown frowns.(BR) (BR) Linus still holds the kite. Lucy stands wrapped in string.(BR) (BR)
At least she isn’t the kite eating tree.
