"Yell at it, Charlie Brown.." Lucy advises. She stands behind Charlie Brown, who faces a tree. String is wrapped aaround the tree.(BR) (BR) "Well, go ahead.." THey gaze up at the tree.(BR) (BR) "You stupid tree! Let go of that kite!!" Charlie Brown y ells.(BR) (BR) "Yell at it again.." Charlie Brown shakes his fist: "YOU STUPID TREE! LET GO OF THAT KITE!"(BR) (BR) "Now grab it, and shake it!!" Lucy instructs. Charlie Brown obeys.(BR) (BR) "Shake it HARDER.." "ARGH!" Charlie Brown cries in frustration.(BR) (BR) "Now KICK it!" Wham! Charlie Brown obligingly kicks the tree trunk.(BR) (BR) "Why do you do everything I tell you?" Lucy wonders as she looks down at Charlie Brown, who lies on his back clutching his aching foot.(BR) (BR)
Those kite-eating trees have hard stomachs!
