    I guess Peanuts had to prove itself for a year or so before the editors decided it was popular and successful enough to get a Sunday strip. It’s too bad we can’t see it in color.

    I’m probably the fifth person to say this, but this is the first Sunday “Peanuts” strip. I’m glad Schulz used the tradition of unique logo boxes for many years to come. This strip features the continuing hilarity of the early Peanuts kids playing. As always, something bad happens. It’s a shame Charlie Brown has become easily mad at his playful pup.
