I don’t know what’s worse, that the ladies all regard the pirates as complete losers the moment they see them, or that for all their contempt and disrespect for the pirates, they still go to such ridiculous and creative efforts to let the guys down gently or otherwise be so subversive about it.
You’d think the best solution to get the pirates to go away would be to be honest about it and just say to the crew “Look, you guys are complete and utter losers who no self-respecting lady would so much as give the time of day, so stop pestering us.”
It’s harsh, yeah, but it’s obviously what all the women are thinking about these guys, so why do they still go to so much effort to convince the crew otherwise?
