Free speech does not prevent anyone from responding back to you, and criticizing you.
Kaepernick is right to espouse his opinion, though those that don’t agree with him don’t have to remain silent and can respond in any manner they wish – so long as it is legal.
I love the book banning. Isn’t it the left that has banned Huckleberry Finn, To Kill a Mockingbird, and so many others because they suddenly don’t like words used in them or the references to the time they were written/occurred in?
Again, no one has to sit idly by and allow you to speak without consequence or contesting it. The left does exactly the same thing, boycotts, protests on college campuses, refusing to allow contrarian opinions/speakers to college campuses.
The hypocrisy flows both ways, but apparently it only matters when one side does it.
