In addition, since tea partiers don’t do it any more (and there were only about 3 who ever did), it’s satire that’s barely based in reality. But cartoonists did get tea partiers to stop wearing period dress of the 1700s.
^Bashir made one inappropriate, to his own values, statement, and apologized. Rush makes at least 3 per show that are far, far, worse, goes on repeating them for weeks, and never apologizes. Yeah, right, Limbaugh is really “sophisticated”, and the most hateful, and hate-filled windbag on the airwaves, even though a couple other right-wingers try to match his load of the disgusting.
