What in the WORLD does mass murder have to do with politics?

(Or calling your fellow Americans names?)

-I’ll try to explain:See, since legislation to control weapons in any way inevitably leads to gun confiscation, it follows that anyone who criticizes the NRA is a communist, thus the Comrade. -Being communist also means they are socialist, facist, nazi and probably a muslim. And they need to learn how to be an American.

What bugs me is that so many on the left don’t seem to want to accept the pleasure one may experience using guns for sport. Everybody understand guns are dangerous, but since gun usage doesn’t appeal to these few (people on the left that will gladly and casually over-regulate guns), they think we all should just abandon our hobbies and desire for safety and accept only their hobbies. Some do want too much freedom (eg, armor-piercing bullets), but why do we have to give up our safety to please these few libs? I mean, no, the general population doesn’t need armor-piercing bullets, but for these few insecure liberal souls, do we have to enact one law after another without actually fixing the problem?

Why should those who enjoy the sports of gun usage, or simply want protection and are perfectly safe doing so, conform to just a few? Over-regulation diverts the efforts of law enforcement from important work, such as, oh, maybe meeting with the people the school psychiatrist had notified James Holmes about??

Were there any academics at that school that want more gun control, who KNEW ABOUT THE PSYCH REPORT, that didn’t have the common sense to contact the police? I’ll bet there were.

So now we put up with this garbage, pictures of people worshipping a statue of a gun. What a joke.

@Braindead08What an appropriate screen name. You have to be Braindead to write like you do.

Great ’toon Nick. The USA has been radicalized by the NRA.

Nice one doc, now they can sue you with a nice class action malpractice suit because you’ve misdiagnosed them all.

A question for those who don’t think that gun regulations are needed: How do you propose to deal with the problem of violent crimes committed with guns? I’m listening, so make your proposals.

Yeah, I noticed that. Here’s a proposal to cut down on “violent crimes committed with cars”. I suggest that people should have to have a license to drive a car, and they should have to pass a test to get a license. As for alcohol, I wasn’t aware that a lot of murders are committed with alcohol.

And did I mention speed limits? Those would be a good thing. Also, people should be restricted to driving only on roads and highways. This driving cars on the sidewalk just isn’t working out. And no one should be allowed to carry a concealed vehicle.
