These same cartoonists who, like Mr Anderson, are doing their best to aid those who would propel the United States into a war with Iran, will be those who in their cartoons show how much they regret the war when it turns sour (that is, if any of us are left around to tell). The problem is not Iran’s non-existent arsenal of nuclear weapons, but rather the very much existent arsenal of nuclear and other weapons which are pointed at that country and the very public threats to «obliterate» it. But then, of course, without the consistent demonisation of adversaries - handy that one always turns up in the nick of time, is it not ? - people in the US might begin to take a long hard look at that over one million million dollars annually spent on the military and begin to wonder if perhaps some of that money might not be more wisely spent providing adequate health care to the residents of that country….
