The great negotiator cries that the dems won’t negotiate. Yet it was the great negotiator that said essentially no wall no government. If he doesn’t get his wall, he will hold 800,000 hostage. Great negotiating. All hail our beloved dictator.

Great. We have a Commerce Secretary who advocates having federal workers get payday loans just so Donnie can look like a real boy.

And there was Larry Kudlow saying that the unpaid workers are “volunteering” out of respect for the Rump. The Rump and his gang of thugs live in an alternative universe.

I said this yesterday and I will say it again today. The United States should not be held hostage by anyone over any reason whatsoever. A law needs to be crafted to put a stop to these shutdowns. Write your congress people and tell them so. Also remember come 2020.

Wilbur Ross had custom-made slippers made with the Commerce Department logo that cost $500. Your taxes paid for them. He wants to know what the big deal is about you needing food.

Ross who responsible for one of the worse mining disasters tells unpaid workers to go get loans. How they going to pay it back?? Advised to go into deeper debt just to appease Trumpy. Then he says mortgage companies will let them slide on missing house payments, car payments……..yeah like that’s gonna happen. Trumpy even alluded to that. Now Trumpy plans to declare National Emergency and will use military civil building funds, Treasury funds, Homeland funds to build his wall…….and still he whines and pouts that he will veto any bill to reopen if it doesn’t have Wall money.

Yes, Ross is a chump. At least we are seeing many who are trying to fill in the gaps for those who are going without. More and more will be needed to step up as time goes on. I saw the other day many are beginning to buy lunch for TSA workers. It is going to get uglier before it gets better, unfortunately though.

    Pelosi said

“What do [Republicans] have? They have Wilbur Ross saying he doesn’t understand why when he was asked about people going to food lines and pantries and the rest. He says that he doesn’t understand why they have to do that. Is this the ‘let them eat cake’ kind of attitude, or ‘call your father for money?’”

A prime example of the new and improved GOP in a nutshell. If you actually have to work for a living, you simply aren’t important enough to be considered. And if you have the misfortune to be employed by the federal government, the privilege of being employed by the federal government should override anything so sordid as your wages.

This is a repeat, but it bears repeating — even if you get back pay, when that money finally arrives, there will be liens against it: late fees, interest, fines and so on. If you’re already living close to the bone, it’s a financial disaster.

Welcome to the most recent innovation in the post-Reagan years: The Right To Work. What many of the states and the Repugnant Party have done is interpret this as workers working themselves into poverty and starvation.

Wilbur Ross is just the latest example of how Trump hires “only the best people”.

    .

“We’re going to win so much, you’re going to be so sick and tired of winning, you’re going to come to me and go ‘Please, please, we can’t win anymore.’”

Trump thinks that grocery stores will “work along” with people and give them food for free.

    .

Again, yet another old rich Republican who neither knows nor gives half a flat damn about how ordinary people live. And yet so many working-class people vote for them, because their hatred of “the other” overrides any common sense.

Trumpy will use his declaration powers to fund his wall bypassing Congress. He found the money spinkled about the Military, Homeland, and Treasury funds. Of course that money was a buffer in case of bad events happening but Trumpy don’t care. He found mommy’s rainy day fund jar……..and he plans to blow it all on a boondoggle…….just like everything else he supposedly built and will be money making. Go see the RioGrande before you’ll need a passport and tourist visa…….it’ll all belong on the Mexico side soon.Sad….really sad.
