I lay at least some of the blame on the moderators, hosts, or whatever you want to call them. It just seemed to me that their questions were often couched in such a way as to incite conflict. I don’t remember the moderators of the first debate asking their questions with that kind of twist.
I fail to understand the consternation. Of COURSE, those not in the lead are going to attack those that are. Of COURSE, those that are in the bottom tier of the polling are going to lash out at all and sundry above them. You must understand that there are 23 democrats (and Sanders) competing for ONE POSITION.
By the time the actual race starts (it’s called the primaries) half the field will be gone because of this “artificial” competition called “The Primary Debates”.
What I also don’t understand is how ANY contender (other than Sanders) could possibly be willing to attack Barack Obama! If you are so ignorant that you think attacking Obama is a good way to get at Biden, then you’re so stupid you REALLY shouldn’t be allowed out by yourself, unsupervised, which precludes you successfully prosecuting a race for President.
