Dad: "You ok, hon?" Luann: "Yeah. I'm just feeling kinda emotional. I'm halfway through my last year of high school, and I'm uncertain about my future" Dad: "That gives us something in common: We're both seniors, uncertain about our future..." Luann: "It's so scary to realize that my friends will go away and start new lives. No more cozy cocoon of school to keep us together" Dad: "Cozy cocoons aren't supposed to be permanent, Luann. You have to become a butterfly. It's the rule" Luann: "So being a teen for like, 29 years isn't an option?" Dad: "Seems like you've already done that..."
