There was this diner in downtown Portland, was open all night and that is pretty much how they operated it, waiters and waitresses didn’t put an act Of being nice or polite toward customers if they were tired or having a bad day, didn’t put out a front or wore a mask, it’s motto wise, the service sucks but at least the food stinks, But the irony was, the place was always packed.
Occasionally, you can still find a place not operated according to marketing drone standards. If you’ve never been sassed by 60-year-old waitress in a truck stop at 2:00 a.m., you haven’t experienced authenticity.
