“Politics”, as in respect for the checks and balances of the branches of government and fear and disdain of the thought of conservative “rubber stamp” courts? Okay, politics it is then!

“One Republican Sexual Predator on the SCOTUS is Enough”

America 2018: GOP considers if rape is really a deal-breaker; Don Jr. mocks victim.

Vote out the sexist and racist Republican liars and thieves in November.

Good! Now we have time to go over all those withheld documents the GOP members have been hiding.

“Politics” is what was done to Merrick Garland . Rape is what was attempted on Christine Blasey Ford and what was trivialized by another woman, Lisa Benson. What is happening to Kavanaugh now is due process.

Who cares how long ago it was? Trump and Co. continually bring up Clinton/Lewinsky. Just let it play out Ms. Benson. Everyone knows that the fix for your guy is in.

Looks like the Harry Reid play book is still in use. If Feinstein had this letter for 2 months, why the delay. A letter from a woman who can’t remember the date it is supposed to happen and who’s students say is a nut case. “Doesn’t matter, we won” HR.

Iron Pounder keeps bringing up “Harry Reid playbook”. This has to do with a statement that Reid made about Romney saying he hadn’t paid taxes in 10 years. Reid should not have made the claim if he didn’t have the facts that he claimed. However, considering that Romney only showed one partial tax return which had to be amended to bring the tax rate up to 14%, I’d say there are some questionable aspects to Romney’s taxes. Comparing that to an allegation of sexual assault really doesn’t show IP’s character in a good light.

Kavanaugh’s opening statement at the hearing was remarkable, it had a bit on his judicial experience but focused on his mother, daughters, wife, Title 9, coaching girls’ basketball… almost a planned defense of the accusation, knowing it was coming.

Lisa, we all know Kavanaugh could have assaulted many girls and maybe even boys during his impetuous youth. Maybe not. But until Kavanaugh and your friends in the Senate release all those blocked and otherwise restricted documents pertaining to his past history, you will, of course, continue to draw blissfully ignorant toons like this.

Is it possible that the democrats may have done the right thing? That is if they are responsible for digging up this 36 year old accusation. Let’s face he is on the court and we have to take whether we like it or not.

Yeah, politics is the last thing the Trump Mafia knows anything about. Unless it’s appointing a Supreme Court justice who’s a lock to put that wrench into the Mueller investigation.

First of all I totally disagree with the supposition that this cartoon provides. That the Democrats foisted this on the public simply to derail Kavanaugh’s nomination. It minimalizes this woman’s pain and suffering and also portrays her as a liar and a political stooge. Finally, as drawn the clock stopping idea won’t work. Since the minute hand moves before the hour hand the wrench will simply fall out. A little more research would have been a useful endeavor.

This is all about trying to delay the appointment of ANY nominee until after the new Congress is seated in January.

1st, it keeps the SCOTUS locked at 4-4 for the upcoming session, meaning every important case will go left by default.

2nd, the Dems are throwing a Hail Mary, desperately hoping to take control of the Senate in January.

Something like this would have been done to ANY nominee. If JC himself had risen and been nominated, the Dems would have tried to pin him for abusing Mary Magdalene.

The court has always been political, even since our founding fathers. Adams packed the court with Federalists then.
