I won’t forgive him for the spawn he let be Bush2. He’s no better than Trump, except that he had manners.

No, not saint, and not even compared to those who came after (current resident excepted). He contributed to the suffering of a lot of people in Central and South America, especially during his CIA days. He contributed to the conditions that led to the first Gulf War (and ultimately al Qaida). He did good, too, especially in his handling of the collapse of the Soviet Union. His record is mixed – as are those of most presidents. Only one — 45 — is almost exclusively disastrous to our country.

While Bush 41 didn’t start dirty political ads, he contributed a great deal to their wide usage.

Bush was pro-choice until he determined that buddying up with the evangelicals would be better politically. The alleged “Moral Majority” is neither moral nor a majority, yet they have turned women’s reproductive rights into a political topic and have demonized supporting the poor.

And there’s all those Willie Horton ads, leaving AIDS patients to die and ……….. umm, Clarence Thomas. Sorry you go south to be with Bar.

Invading the middle east like a new Crusader made him a saint to some people.

But it totally disturbed most of the world and will are still suffering the consequences of Bush’s New World Order which had an old world odor.

Nope. Not “those” who came after. Like HW Bush, Clinton, GW Bush, Obama, all had their faults, but are still respected and considered Presidents.

The big difference between Trump and all preceding presidents is that Trump is the first who had absolutely no concept of or respect for the office of president. He has no idea that the office is bigger than any individual person holding it and that the president is the servant of the office and of the people.

he also didn’t help the AIDs community when he had the chance, but sure – they care about taxes in the afterlife

A good man maybe, but not a saint. A President is just human like everyone else.
