In a country and an era when intelligence, knowledge, and education are seen as useless and pretentious, Alex, James, Ken, and Brad are single-handedly showing how breathtakingly wonderful it can be.
Like Jeopardy, because it stimulates brain function and memory retention. Can we get Bonespurs and his supporters in Congress and the public to tune in?
Misses a flu shot once. Guess what? Never, ever gonna miss another one. Walk through old cemeteries and see how many graves there are for about 1915-1918 (and not from WWI).
As per usual, the shots are… not entirely helpful this year because they are made before the season starts (as they must be, to be available when needed) and they guessers guessed not too well. Even worse, the type that’s currently going around attacks children more effectively than the expected type. Double whammy.
I saw an article a month or three ago about some folks who are working on a universal flu vaccine (or shot?) that works against every strain of flu. They were claiming some success, but it isn’t going to be available any time real soon.

They’re kind of smart, just their reactions are a little slow.
