No matter how much Trump deserves to be impeached, McConnell and company will look the other way and block it.

Trading Trump for Pence? What’s the sense in that?

At least the GOP are united in supporting a lying, cheating, mentally ill president. Nancy recognizes that the repubs in the senate have no backbone and will not vote out that incompetent fool. Nancy wants to expose as much dirt as possible and maybe turn a few votes her way. If you look closer you might notice that the split is not if the president should be impeached, it is how and when.

Imaginary RGN nonsense. A small minority of Dems from very safe districts call for impeachment, the RGN tries to make it sound like it’s a “BIG SPLIT” in the party.

Rolleyes! Usual nonsense. If they wanted to be fair, as opposed to “get them clicks”, they’d just say something like “8% of the Democrats in the House have called for impeaching Trump”, which to the best of my knowledge would be fairly accurate. But not exciting, nor does it get Republicans excited.

You can tell they are Democrats. They are allowed differing opinions.

As a Dem, we could easily impeach Dump for obstruction of justice, but for collusion we’d have to pull a Ken Starr. But, the other side of me thinks there are more important things our congresspersons can be doing with their limited time. I think the current sentiment is for the Dems to go on with the investigation into Dumps many misdeeds and leave the final impeachment in 2020 to the people.

Pence is the one that really scares me. Spawn of Pat Robertson.

Most Dems know that impeachment by the House is a waste of time because the Repubs in Senate will block it, McConnell probably would block the vote from even coming to the floor. The House needs to focus on investigations so that the public knows the truth about Trump and the Repubs covering for him.

Still got over a year to decide on impeachment, the evidence for it is still coming in.

Dems need to go for impeachment, the majority are sick and tired of Republican bullies destroying the country.

It’s called compromise and doing what’s best for the country. The republicans should try it some time.

Trump might win re-election. Pence couldn’t run for Dolphin and win.

There is still room for public disagreement in one major US political party. The other is driving dissenters underground.

Isn’t it a good thing to have some actual discourse about what we should be doing? Holbert’s not really much about that.
