Um, it’s not al Qaeda. They really DO all look alike to you guys, don’t they? So how many of our children do you want to kill now? A few thousand more? And you think that will do it, huh? Maybe spend a trillion dollars (off-budget, of course)? Go for it. After all, why outlaw abortion if you can’t kill all those kids 19 years later when it really matters?

http://cnsnews.com/news/article/susan-jones/middle-east-experts-we-need-be-very-concerned-about-iraq-This is Al-Qaeda and all its clones, on the march to conquer, mass beheadings and mass chaos, on the schedule Obama thoughtfully gave them…the announced date of US departure.-The UN (AP from Geneva 6/12/14) Refugee Agency reports Iraq’s refugee population has increased in 2014 by almost 800,000 as the democraticly elected government is swamped by the new Horde of worse than the Huns!-This week, 300,000 fled with nothing but the clothes on their backs, in the north of Iraq. Last week the agency reported that nearly 480,000 people were driven from their homes in Anbar province since January, 2014. -This is the Obama Policy, which has abandoned helpless Iraqi citizens and has strengthened Jihadists in the Mideast.NOT the American “way to go” IMO.

The Muslims have been fighting and killing each other for over a 1,000 years. What ever made us think we could change that in a few decades? I thought going into Iraqi was wright at first, but now I see how naive I was. We must not send troops back into that hell.

Jerry, at least get some facts straight. The group now rising in Iraq is called ISIS. They are reputed to be even more radical than the Al-Qaeda, and the Taliban. But yes, they all hate us, and blame us for every woe which affects them, whether our fault or not. They have been fighting among themselves, and against the world for centuries, and will probably continue to do so. Christianity and Judism had their moments, but at least looked at themselves and grew up. Islam seems to me to still be in the pre-adolescent stage (with adult weaponry).

Bremer fired the Iraqi Army and Police force, then built walls all over Baghdad to separate Shia from Sunni neighborhoods. We covertly did basically the same thing logistically across Iraq (and Afghanistan) based on “tribal” allegiances.

When Bush left Afghanistan to invade Iraq, he declared al Qaeda on the run and Ossama bin Laden in their sights, to be captured or killed at any moment!

We need to get out and stay out. BTW; just a note heard last night on the “news”, that our EMBASSY in Baghdad is bigger than Vatican City. Was that because Bushco planned to leave, or keep Iraq under our geopolitical thumb?

Moose, what matters to the West is not the name chosen by “local” terrorists who each choose their own name; but the underlying dedication to the teaching of their Koran to please Allah by activist suicide killings and by spreading over the earth to kill and conquer the Western nations and rule the entire earth! Bin Laden had that plan and it was the success of the Taliban gaining power in Afghanistan and aiding Al Qaeda to plan and do the 9/11/01 attack on the #1 “Satan”, the USA by downing the World Trade Center buildings in New York and hitting the Pentagon in DC.-That success shown around the globe is what spurred the Jihadists of the Mideast and the World….not what Bush did to fight communism and to fight the helpers of Al Qaeda!-Too many Americans seem to be blaming the wrong people (the resistors and the fight-back to preserve our freedoms people). If we don’t do our utmost to keep Jihadists ducking from defensive fire from our side, they will expand faster and use more brutality in their attacks…..the Free Nations can only handle so many refugees! We do not want the streets of America to become duplicates of the streets where Jihadists now operate! -There are Christians in Iraq and in most Moslem nations. They are at risk as well as the American workers…www.wnd.com today has this 6/13/14 report of 200 American contractors at Iraq’s Balad US Air Force base are surrounded by members of the ISIL who are killing and beheading Iraqi police and Sunnis and Christians and whoever they hate. We need evacuation of those 200 Americans, but Obama is off to play golf with the rich Democrats today.

When in Iraq, my son ran a crew that included Sunni and Shia, they got along fine on the job, then went home to their neighborhoods, now segregated by literal walls that we build, just like in Germany, and Israel is building in the West Bank and elsewhere. Those walls just further divide, mental as wall as physical.

I’ve heard the same thing from Iraqi ex-pats, dtroutma — they got along fine and lived in mixed neighborhoods until Bush went on his nation-building adventure. Saddam Hussein was corrupt, but we had been keeping him under control with air control and sanctions. Then W and his lying pals decided to kill a few thousand of our kids in hopes of getting some oil deals, and ended up totally destabilizing the nation. Well, I mean Iraq, but this one, too.
