Donald, trying again to exploit the vulnerability of the superstitious and the stupid. I certainly don’t think Christ was divine, (and neither do around 80% of my fellow humans). But I do think he was essentially a “positive” influence. Thus ANY association with The Former Grifter is ironic- or worse.

‘Pandering’: Trump brutally mocked for spewing ‘racial tropes’ at Black conservative event

Former president Donald Trump was the keynote speaker of the Black Conservative Federation’s Annual BCF Honors Gala in Columbia, South Carolina, Friday, where he purportedly spread racial tropes in an effort to court minority voters.

“Trump says black people love him because he’s a criminal. I told you guys, this is what they think of us,” said a news editor.

“Trump was sued by the U.S. Justice Department for allegedly engaging in housing discrimination against Black-Americans,” The Intellectualist wrote on Friday.

“Trump was literally sued by the DOJ for housing discrimination against Black people in 1973.”

“Trump and his father were sued by the Justice Department in 1973 for racial discrimination against prospective Black tenants at their housing projects,” he said while posting a legal filing from the case.

Another key moment was when Trump said, “These lights are so bright in my eyes I can’t see too many people out there… I can only see the Black ones. I can’t see any white ones. That’s how far I’ve come. That’s a long way isn’t it?”

That one stunned a panel on CNN.

43: Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.

    44: But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

45: That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

46: For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? Do not even the (re)publicans the same?

47: And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the (re)publicans so?

48: Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

The Republicans have never really been the party of Christian values. But, they have sold that lie very successfully to their base. For at least the past two generations, Republicans have depended on the Religious Right types, who make up a huge part of their base, to send money and volunteer and they have been very dependable, despite the fact that very few of them have enough money that they were not working against their own best interests. For them, it didn’t have anything to do with economics or social welfare, because they were brainwashed into believing that the Republicans believed in the Family Values agenda.

Evangelicals are not as mindless as they appear to be. They really want the entire country to share their beliefs, or at least to act like they do.

They don’t like abortions, and actually birth control.

They want everyone to attend church and believe in Jesus, they want everyone to allow public prayer everywhere all the time. In fact, it would be required.

They would not allow any evidence of any other religion, or lack thereof to be displayed in public. That kind of thing is frightening to them and they really really hate it.

And, they have somehow gotten the idea that Trump wants a Christian version of the Taliban in America. This is quite a reach, considering that he doesn’t attend church himself and has shown absolutely no morals according to the dictates of any religion.

It is amazing to see how many of these people who are, in their own minds at least, a moral shining light actually are not ashamed of the fact that they are avidly supporting a person who is reliably dishonest in his business dealings and has the Family Values credentials of an extremely active tomcat.

So far, there are NO comments from any Trump Disciples.

    NONE.

    .

When he was in office, I asked individual commenters if Trump is a Christian.

    Most did not respond. Ever.

Those who did, were quite evasive — between him and his god, more Christian than Obama/Hillary/Pelosi/Biden, et al.

When pinned down whether they believed Trump is a Christian or not, a few conceded that he is not. The rest refused to answer. No one, even among Trump Disciples, claimed he is a Christian.

‘Trump appears to be showing gross signs of dementia’: Expert points to new evidence

According to psychologist Dr. John Gartner, formerly of Johns Hopkins University Medical School, Donald Trump’s slurring and inability to sometimes formulate complete sentences appears to be a sign of growing dementia and possibly early stages of Alzheimer’s.

In an interview with Salon’s Chauncey DeVega, Gartner bluntly stated the former president is “showing gross signs of dementia” and fellow experts are not pointing out the warning signs nearly enough.

After telling Salon’s DeVega, “There is also this focus on [President Joe] Biden’s gaffes or other things that are well within the normal limits of aging. By comparison, Trump appears to be showing gross signs of dementia. This is a tale of two brains. Biden’s brain is aging. Trump’s brain is dementing,”

Trump, he noted, appears to be spiraling into “phonemic paraphasias” during his rally speeches, which he described as, “the substitution of non-words for words that sound similar—are not normally seen until a patient enters the moderate to severe stages of Alzheimer’s.”

According to Gartner, “Some examples of Trump’s non-words: Beneficiaries becomes ‘benefishes.’ Renovations become ‘renoversh.’ Pivotal became ‘pivobal.’ Obama became ‘obamna.’ Missiles became ‘mishiz.’ Christmas became ‘Crissus.’ Bipartisan became ‘bipars.’ This is a fundamental breakdown in the ability to use language. If you were talking to your father on the phone and he did this you would think he is having a stroke. There is no healthy older person who speaks that way.”

He also noted Trump’s tendency to go off in odd directions while talking to audiences.

Please, let someone air ads showing this guy pushing his - mercy!- golden sneakers on every available broadcast, cable, social media, and streaming channel — as often as possible until the election. Let those ads drown out any explicitly political ads aired on his behalf! Let people get thoroughly sick of them. Let people be unable to think of him as anything other than a huckster flogging golden sneakers. That should clarify just who this clown is.

While it is disgusting, many before tRump came along and tried to use religion to control others. Even with warnings in the Bible, most had at least initial success doing so, some Christian sects and Muslim sects in the long term. Now the guy who couldn’t hold a bible right-side up and refused to answer when asked his religious convictions has announced just this weekend he is a Christian leading with Christian values. tRump has no Christian values, but the evangelicals in the U.S. who oppose what Jesus taught will cling to tRump. How can someone read the book and get it so wrong? satan’s job made easy.

Now he’s trying to pass himself off as a “political dissident” to profit from the death of Navalny. Being a liar, election denier and foot-dragger is not political dissidence.

Democracy experts flag Trump’s ‘most disgusting statement’ from CPAC speech

The former president has consistently cast himself as the victim of Joe Biden, even going as far as to compare himself to the man who was purportedly killed by Putin because he stood up to the leader politically.

But Trump took that even further at the CPAC event, referring to himself as a “political dissident” being persecuted by Biden’s regime.

“I stand before you today not only as your past and future president, but also as a proud political dissident,” he said on Saturday, adding, “I am a dissident.”

This didn’t go unnoticed by Trygve Olson, the author of the Lincoln Democracy Institute’s research project, the “Democracy Index.” He said the comment “might be the most disgusting statement of Donald Trump this week which is saying something.”

“Nelson Mandela was a dissident. Alexander Navalny was a dissident. My friends who are imprisoned in Belarus are dissidents,” he wrote. “You sir, are not a dissident by any stretch of the definition.”

    The democracy expert then continued:

“The fact you even claim to be insults those around the world who are (or have been) persecuted for political reasons.”

“Trump claims that he is a political dissident. I don’t think he knows what those words mean.”

Professional criminal Trump claims he is exempt from being prosecuted for his crimes.

Insane Uncle Rambles Trump had to read from notes to thank his family in SC and still left off Eric. Yesterday he called Melania, Mercedes, a sign of Alzheimer’s.

The interest on the money Trump owes NYC has gone up to $114,000 a day, more money than most Americans make in a year. Professional criminal Trump is a black hole when it comes to money.

Trump has 30 days to pay up or his buildings get sold.

Is there no end the cons and pandering? Trump casinos, trading cards, steaks, neckties, a failed (and fraudulent university) and now shoes (African-Americans will supposedly vote for him because they like his mugshot and now his sneakers). Did I leave anything out? Yes, Herr Trump WOULD try to sell sneakers to Jesus on the cross. This man does not have a single shread of decency and humanity.
